Who are Active Luton?
Active Luton is Luton’s leading sport and leisure trust, they provide a huge range of opportunities for people of all ages to get involved with sports, leisure and fitness activities.
Active Luton run 7 of Luton’s leading leisure centres including Inspire: Luton Sports Village, Lewsey Sports Park and Stockwood Park Golf Centre. Outside of their own centres they run fitness and health programs all over Luton, for people from all walks of life to help improve wellbeing in the community. They also offer training to not only to their own staff but also to teachers and businesses across Luton.
Chiltern and Active Luton
Chiltern Telecom have had the pleasure of providing a range of services to Active Luton across their multiple sites for nearly fifteen years! During that time we have taken on maintenance of existing equipment and installed a variety of new and additional equipment across Active Luton’s many sites.
With all technology, over time, equipment becomes outdated and replaced with more efficient and cost effective products. The telephony equipment at Active Luton was no different so in 2016 we decided it was time to find the best possible solution to unify all the sites telecommunications, to reduce their outgoing costs and provide the most reliable product and utilize all the latest technology available.
The Project
After exploring the available solutions, together we decided a Hosted Platform would provide the wide variety of features required across the numerous sites including Multi Layered Auto Attendants, Call Centre functionality, Advanced Call Reporting and Call Recording plus many more. A Hosted Platform would also offer massive flexibility and ease of use for both the end users and also admin staff using the customer friendly web portal.
