Who are Three Bridge?

Three Bridge Campers specialise in the design and construction of luxury VW campervan conversions.

Three Bridge are currently celebrating their 10 year anniversary. Since their launch in 2009 the company has been growing year on year, from the original duo of Dan and his father, Stewart, building exhibition stands and designing imaginative campervan projects together, to the team of more than ten specialist fitters we see today.

This incredible growth has been made possible by their shared passion for innovation and creativity which has firmly embedded Three Bridge as a popular market favourite in the campervan scene.

Three Bridge and Chiltern Telecom

In early 2019 Chiltern Telecom was introduced to Lyall from Three Bridge and it was here we learned about this incredible company and their upcoming relocation. This expanding company had finally outgrown it’s early home and was ready to move into its own, custom fitted, bespoke workshop near Milton Keynes.

Three Bridge were designing this building from the ground up using the same creativity and attention to detail they demonstrate on their campervan conversions. Chiltern were invited in at an early stage, initially to assess the network cabling requirements around the building. Very quickly, the full scope of this project came into focus, after working together with Dan and Lyall we developed a keen understanding for their end goals and ambitions for their new workshop.

The Project

CCTV – Security was the first key important requirement for the guys at three bridge. Security for their staff and peace of mind for the customers. As such Chiltern put together a bespoke CCTV package offering full HD coverage of the interior and exterior of the new property. This added security helps to prevent crime in and around the building giving peace of mind to both Three bridge and their customers but also to the surrounding community.

Network and Wi-Fi – As with nearly all companies these days, a fast and reliable internal network is a fundamental requirement for daily operations at Three Bridge. With this in mind, Chiltern set about surveying the building, understanding where fixed network points would be required, bearing in mind potential future expansion, and also the most optimum locations for wireless access points, to give full Wi-Fi coverage throughout the new premises.

Telephony – With the blank canvas of a empty building, we had the opportunity here to install some of the latest technology, with a brand new Hosted VOIP solution and a dedicated voice broadband circuit. This provides Three Bridge with great flexibility, with their easy-to-use customer portal and mobile application.

Lines/Broadband – For the backbone of the infrastructure it was important to have both speed and resilience, to this end, our recommendation was one of our superfast FTTC circuits for the data and an additional FTTC circuit dedicated for their voice traffic. This provides not only superfast speeds and resilience, but also failsafe’s, for in the unlikely event of a line fault or broadband issue there is a secondary circuit to fall back on temporarily.

All of the above of course centralized in a purpose built network cabinet for easy access for future additions and alterations.

The Conclusion

Overall, it has been a real pleasure to be involved with Three Bridge on this project and a privilege to be able to work so closely with them to help modernise their new base of operations. The finished product is a truly amazing workshop for the team to continue to grow and innovate into the future and Chiltern Telecom are proud to have played such a large role in the transformation.
